These are “quick hit” jobs. Meaning your application is less than 200 words and usually, owners will want to execute quickly. Therefore, the only time you will hear back on an application is if you are selected.
If you’re selected, then you will get an email letting you know that you need to go in and accept the job. Once you do this it will open a message center between you and the owner
You will NOT be notified if not selected for the job

Know the Facts!
Freelancers rave about the flexibility of their careers.
👍They can work from literally anywhere.
👍They set their own hours.
👍They’re their own boss.
Okay yeah, so it’s pretty great! But there are a few downsides, too. The biggest one we hear?
👎 Higher taxes- you will get a 1099 to file taxes
Luckily, we know all about freelancing here at SmartMomGig. Here are our tips for managing your taxes as a freelancer.
💰Predict your tax liability & pay ahead. The IRS lets you make quarterly installments. If you go over your actual tax liability, you get a refund at the end of the year. This way, you avoid a big chunk of change come tax season.
💰Set up your own business. There are a lot more tax breaks (and things you can write off) for business owners than you think!
